Introducing the ResMed HumidAir™ 11 Water Chamber for the ResMed AirSense™ 11 CPAP machine. This water chamber provides you with a heated humidifier option for your CPAP device and is compatible and is designed specifically for the brand new line of AirSense™ 11 CPAP machines.
The AirSense™ 11 Water Chamber is a removable water tub that’s easy to fill and clean for active heated humidification. This replacement product part is specially designed for use with the AirSense™ 11 from ResMed.
The ResMed HumidAir 11 CPAP heated humidifier is capable of enhancing sleep apnea therapy and helps by preventing some common side effects such as dry mouth and CPAP mask and tube rainout. This water tub is also compatible with ResMed's new ClimateLineAir™ 11 heated hose and this humidifier can be seen as a comfort feature that will help you get the best experience possible from your sleep apnea therapy.
Exclusively designed for and integrated with AirSense 11, this water tub chamber is designed to hold a capacity of 380 ml of water. It can be opened for cleaning and filling but we highly recommend removing the tub from the AirSense™ 11 when refilling with distilled water.
Regarding general maintenance and cleaning of the AirSense™ 11 water chamber, the standard version is NOT dishwasher safe and should be cleaned by hand weekly with warm water and a mild detergent. Once clean it should be allowed to dry out completely and out of direct sunlight before reinstalling it to your sleep therapy device. The cleanable variant of this tub is dishwasher safe.
Please note: The ResMed HumidAir 11 Water Chamber is NOT compatible with the ResMed AirSense 10, AirCurve 10 or S9 model CPAP devices. It is designed to be used only with the ResMed AirSense 11.
Made to be durable
The AirSense™ 11 HumidAir™ Water Chamber is very durable and is made with injection-molded plastic, stainless steel, and a silicone seal. During sleep apnea therapy, place the device on a level surface that’s lower than the placement of your head. By doing so, this will prevent your mask and tubing from filling with water. This tub has a maximum capacity of 380 mL and includes a 90-day ResMed warranty.
Use preferably with distilled water
Always try to use distilled water at room temperature, and regularly check the tub for leaks and cracks. Only consider using tap water in extreme circumstances as this can significantly contribute to the deterioration of the ResMed water chamber as well as affecting your health through bacterial buildup. This product should be wiped thoroughly with a clean disposable cloth each day and dried away from direct sunlight.
Helps with a better CPAP experience
Humidification helps to reduce the occasional side effects that are associated with sleep apnea therapy such as headaches, dry mouth and rainout. Some people also add certain organic additives like scented oils and perfumes but we do not recommend this as it may cause deterioration of the water chamber and can reduce the humidification output of your equipment.
Regular checks and maintenance
Regular checks and maintenance are extremely important for your CPAP equipment and this includes checking the CPAP machine, masks, tubing and other accessories. Regarding the HumidAir™ 11 Water Tub, if you observe any leaks or cracks along the AirSense™ 11 Water Chamber, you should replace it immediately.
