UltraCompact Cushion
The AirFit™ F30 cushion is designed to provide a secure seal at the bottom of the nose to prevent nasal bridge discomfort and red marks caused through skin irritation. Recorded to have delivered a good fit for 93% of patients in a recent study. The F30 cushion also provides an unobscured view of vision which is ideal for those who wear glasses, would like to read a book or watch television during sleep therapy. It is also ideal for those who are claustrophobic.
New QuietAir™ Elbow Included With Purchase
ResMed has developed a new QuietAir™ Elbow diffuser which works by breaking up exhaled air so it’s spread out lightly over a larger area, making AirFit™ F30 one of the quietest minimal-contact full face masks currently available on the market today.
Padded Headgear with Magnetic Clips
The highly adjustable F30 headgear extends above the ears, over the crown of the head, and downward toward the base of head. The padded headgear glides along the circumference of the head, leaving a portion of the head untouched ensuring ultimate comfort and support at the same time. The plush padding was built into the design to offer additional comfort.
Magnetic headgear clips connect the bottom headgear straps to the base of the cushion. Easily lift the clip from its magnetic attachment to disengage the mask from your face without destroying the fit.
Quick Release Elbow with Air Diffuser
The AirFit™ F30 elbow helps patients to easily disconnect and reconnect during Sleep Apnea therapy. The round component is lined by many, tiny holes which diffuse the sound of the air as it is being released from the F30 mask. This aspect of the design is anticipated to help quieten the CPAP therapy making it a more enjoyable experience for the user and their bed partner.
The elbow can be removed from the CPAP hose quickly and efficiently. If you get up in the middle of the night, slide the CPAP hose from the base of the elbow. This feature allows the user to quickly stop and start therapy without the need to disrupt the mask.
